How much does a kitchen refit cost in Manchester?
+
Greater Manchester 2026: standard refit £8,000–£15,000 (labour, materials, decoration — units excluded); mid-range with new units, quartz worktop, tile and appliances £18,000–£32,000; high-end bespoke £35,000+. Fixed itemised quote with PC sums for items you're choosing.
How long does a kitchen refit take?
+
Typically 3–5 weeks from strip-out to handover. Programmed week-by-week with the contract — finish date confirmed before works begin.
Can I supply my own units, worktops or tiles?
+
Yes — Howdens, Wren, Magnet, Wickes, online suppliers, bespoke makers. We can also source at trade. PC sums in the quote either way.
Can I stay in the house during a kitchen refit?
+
Yes — with about one week without a kitchen sink (we set up a temporary wash point) and 2–3 days with the cooker offline when gas / electric is being re-fitted.
Are your trades Gas Safe and NAPIT certified?
+
Our specialist gas and electrical subcontractors are Gas Safe and NAPIT-registered, with certificates issued on completion. Documented on handover.
Do you guarantee the work?
+
Yes — up to 5 years on internal renovation defects, written into the contract. Material warranties on units, worktops and appliances pass through from the manufacturer.
How quickly can you survey and quote?
+
Site surveys booked within a few days; a fixed written quote follows as soon as it's ready.
Do you cover all of Greater Manchester?
+
Yes — Manchester, Salford, Stockport, Trafford, Cheshire and surrounding towns. See service areas for the full coverage map.
Can you reconfigure the layout, not just refit?
+
Yes — moving sinks and cookers, removing walls with steel and pad-stones, combining kitchen and dining. Structural calc and Building Control sign-off included.
